I work relationally with my clients. To me this means that an honest, trusting relationship between client and counsellor is the basis of successful therapy. I am particularly interested in the way in which relationships work and also how we deal with loss throughout life.
I am an Accredited member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics.
As well as my work in general counselling, my experiences have led me to working with people as they come to the end of their lives. I have trained as a Soul Midwife (www.soulmidwives.co.uk ) and as a result give support and act as a facilitator for those who are facing this stage of their journey. I am there to support the dying and their family.
